MADISON HUTTER
OWNER & ARTIST
Maddie is a graduate of Frostburg State University and current master’s student in Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology at Capella University, was born in Cumberland but grew up in immersed in the tattoo world in Ohio and beyond. A lifelong creative with deep roots in body art, she is now carving out her own path as a tattoo artist and curator of a space that uplifts fellow artists and creators. Madison was featured in the September 2023 40-Under-40 issue of Allegany Magazine.

Joe Thomas
Senior Artist
Joe Thomas, a veteran tattoo artist whose career began in the 1990s in Youngstown, Ohio, is known for his highly detailed photorealism and masterful versatility. With a background in commercial painting and airbrush art, Joe’s ability to shift seamlessly between traditional, new school, realism, and portraiture makes him a sought-after artist with a loyal client base across state lines. In addition to his work with Madhouse Studios, Joe also serves a weekly traveling guest artist at Hot Rod Tattooing & Piercing, Martins Ferry, Ohio.

Stephanie Hutter-Thomas
Business Manager
Stephanie Hutter-Thomas, a Cumberland native, is widely recognized across Maryland for her advocacy in public health and peer support workforce development. A seasoned trainer, researcher, and systems-change strategist, she’s also no stranger to the tattoo world. Stephanie previously worked as a professional body piercer, permanent makeup artist, and bloodborne pathogens trainer. Stephanie and Joe co-owned and operated a successful body art studio of two decades in Girard, Ohio, before relocating to Allegany County in 2016. Stephanie is also Founder & Principal Consultant for Maverick Minds, LLC where she provides ongoing support and subject matter expertise for projects in higher education, public health, workforce development and community-based human services organizations.
